Stanford Libraries utilizes HP Pro S3 3D scanner for digitization of fragile physical objects

Check out the interesting blog on sketchfab by Standford Libraries Digital Library Systems and Services, who have been Growshapes' customers since 2015.  

Note what they said after having tried several different scanners with different technologies including photogrammetry and blue light solution by Artec.  They settled for the desktop 3D scanner by HP which uses white light structured light solution.

"Astrid Smith, one of the Digital Production Group’s Production Coordinators, along with Tony and Wayne, used photogrammetry (using a Canon DSLR and Agisoft Photoscan) and the Artec Space Spider on a collection of stone tools and animal skeletons, keeping meticulous notes on time, ease of method, and overall process.
